My name is Curtis, Curt Man, Dirty Curty. I own the place. I have been in the hair industry for nineteen years now, and have been a salon owner for six of those. Educating and inspiring other artists is what I live for. My career has taken me all around the world and back. I educated for TIGI for five years of my career, where I focused on teaching on stage as a platform artist as well as in other salons.I have chosen to carry three of the best hair product lines in the industry because, with these products, comes a load of education. I have been to New York four times to take part in Bumble and bumble’s business and cutting courses. TIGI has taken me to Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Santa Monica numerous times to take part in advance courses. I have worked with legendary artist Oribe at his backstage show in Las vegas.
When I’m not having a blast at work I also have a passion for all terrain vehicles, I spend time with my daughter Emma every chance I get. I like to snowboard. My personal mission is to continually grow spiritually, professionally, and of course to share my knowledge with my team and inspire others! |

Curits and I have owned CREAM for just over six years now, but besides running these three fabulous salons, I love to shop for shoes, dress my dog Betsey doodle dandy and dirt bike.
If I could rent a time machine I would travel back to 1995 and see what Kevin Aucoin’s giant hands were made of. If I could travel into the future I would find myself and say, “Hey good job, ya made it!” |

Stephanie BurkoskiMaster Stylist/Makeup Artist/Salon Educator

I love doing hair. Among other things, I enjoy cooking, camping, laughing and drinking wine. As far back as I can remember, Barbie stood no chance against my creative will, or my scissors. Nine years back I attended St. Claires college of hair in Ontario where my knowledge grew, skills progressed and passion thrived!I had a dream of living “where everyone vacations,” and it became a reality, so here I am in Kelowna. Hair dressing has presented me with more opportunities than I ever could have imagined! I have had advanced training in the Big Apple under legendary award winning stylists like Zack Mascolo. With my love for products I am very privileged to be CREAM West Kelowna’s network educator for Bumble and bumble. Receiving my training at the prestigious Bumble and bumble University, I am now a Junior Educator for our Wednesday in-house training. The opportunity for travel and education doesn’t stop there, I also got to attend Fashion Forecast in Santa Monica, CA recently. It was a full-spectrum blonde class with Wella superstar, Philip Fererra.
My favorite thing about hair is excitement for the transformation. trendy cuts, radiant colors, photo shoots, Brazilian Blowouts and yes, extensions! |

Kate MaritStylist/Makeup Artist

My philosophy behind a haircut is that everything is important, every detail. The more personalized, the more authentic, the more special, the more magical a look becomes! I believe color is a mood, a spirit, and an expression. I have learned to combine my training in classical techniques with a more abstract intuitive, experimental approach. The power of a great makeover is exposing and enhancing what is already there. I want to bring back elegance and real sexiness, to restore life in people!I don’t have to go to work, I get to! |
Betsey Johnson AdamsStyle Icon/Dog
|
Some people may think that the brains behind CREAM salons are my mom and dad. You may want to think again. The real mastermind is me, Betsey Johnson Adams.
My day to day task is managing to make people melt with my puppy dog eyes at the front reception area. I also snuggle, warm laps and fetch my Jimmy Chew shoe. When people aren’t looking, I tend to dig my head into guests purses in hopes of finding a treat. No other dog in town dresses as Couture as I do. I own 72 outfits including a mermaid costume and designer onesies from Barking Babies in Vancouver. I don’t come to “come,” I come when I feel like it. Ive never received a pay cheque per se, but as you heard my closet is extensive. Please come visit me anytime for your snuggle needs!! |
